The project for the whiskey brand Libertas involves crafting a new logo, brand identity, and potential bottle labels. The new identity has the potential to elevate the brand and resonate with our target audience, using traditional printmaking and styles as a springboard to create a sleek, modern design.

SOLUTION

The logo connects to the brand's rich history, starting in 1929 during the prohibition era, and is inspired by woodcut printmaking and the Roman Goddess Libertas who symbolizes freedom. Another way to elevate the brand identity and give it a luxurious undertone is to include gold foil and printing techniques such as embossing and debossing.
